Yoon Eun Hye at “White Day Single Movie Party” for My Black Mini Dress
Yoon Eun Hye wore the same blue dress she did earlier in the day at the industry screening event. Understandably so, as she is very busy these days doing a lot of promotion for the movie, from events to interviews.
In fact she recently tweeted about having to interview for 10 hours straight and getting sick as a result. Our girl is working hard to make sure the movie gets a lot of exposure and is a success. Whether its fair or not, as the movie’s biggest star, the public will credit or fault her with the movie’s success or failure. Let’s hope it’s a big smash hit!

Yoon Eun Hye Shows Her Great Dance Skills on Happy Together
Yoon Eun Hye guested on the latest episode of Happy Together as part of promotions for her movie, My Black Mini Dress. Park Han Byul was also there along with other guests such as singer K.Will, Sori, Jun Hyun Mu, and Park Hwi Sun.
In 2 different segments, Yoon Eun Hye showed us she still has all the moves and is a versatile dancer. She danced to Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce “Telephone”, theme song for “Baby Dinosaur Dooly” (cartoon), 2AM’s “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die”, and even a classic trot song.
Yoon Eun Hye obviously has a professional dance background from her days in the girl group, Baby VOX. Some may also have fond memories of her regular appearances on X-man where she often put on the best dance performances of all the guests.
Yoon Eun Hye also seemed to be in a particularly good mood on the show, cracking up many times at jokes made by Yoo Jae Suk, the other hosts, and the guests.
In another segment, the guests were asked about complexes they might have and Yoon Eun Hye sometimes worries she looks too plain next to beautiful “dolls” like her castmates Park Han Byul, Yoo In Na, and Cha Ye Ryun.
Speaking honestly, I think Yoon Eun Hye is very pretty, but I think a huge part of Yoon Eun Hye’s appeal is that she’s actually not drop-dead gorgeous in the traditional sense. Nothing against the dolls, but when I look at them I don’t see anything special, they’re actually quite common and those looks can even be manufactured.
But you look at Yoon Eun Hye, who continues to draw people’s interest and obtain success in all her projects, with supposedly “average” looks, and you know there is something special about this lady. Something that sort of seems intangible, but you feel it when you watch her. Am I right? Or am I right?
This episode of Happy Together aired on KBS2 on March 17, 2011. My Black Mini Dress opens on March 24, 2011. Fighting!

Yoon Eun Hye Interview for ‘My Black Mini Dress’: Days That Still Require a Lot of Homework
Yoon Eun Hye conducted an extensive interview with Naver, the largest portal in Korea, for My Black Mini Dress. The interview was featured as cover story for issue no. 942 of Naver Movie. Yoon Eun Hye discusses a wide range of topics such as her decision to do a movie after so long, the movie’s themes, the characters, her perfectionist personality, malicious/inaccurate reporting, her past dramas, and more. ‘My Black Mini Dress’ opened on March 24, 2011 and is currently playing in theaters. Days That Still Require a Lot of Homework
The 20′s are strange days. These are days when things end up becoming more complicated as you try harder. Just as you’ve barely made it through the stormy high school days, you face cruel days filled with even bigger waves. The movie ‘My Black Mini Dress’ is a story of four friends who bear through the “nothing comes easy” days with friendship and jealousy. And Yoon Eun Hye has become a common person in her 20′s for a change. She’s not a crown princess, a cross-dressing girl, a selfish city girl, or a lady of a conglomerate family. She’s an intern writer who becomes lost after being torn from the reality. For someone who acted such a character, what would her own 20′s be like?“I experienced society earlier at the age of 16.”
Q: It’s been 5 years since your last movie. It seems like ‘My Black Mini Dress’ is the first movie you were determined to film since your debut project ‘Escaping From Charisma’ (2006).
Yes, because ‘Escaping Charisma’ was even before drama ‘Goong’. It was a movie filmed when I really didn’t know anything. It was a project that I did after considering turning it down. I’m very feminine and I wasn’t confident in playing a boyish high school girl in ‘Escaping Charisma’ as my first project. I ended up doing it because the director kept telling me that I fit the character well. But I realized it then that I had to find projects where I could perform better. I was not suited to play a character that didn’t share even 1% of my real image. So, little by little I played characters that I could add my real image to, and ended up doing ‘My Black Mini Dress’ 5 years later.
